BosonWare Retailer is a partner programme for agencies, freelancers, IT consultants and other businesses who want to recommend or resell BosonMail, BosonWare's hosted business email service.
A BosonWare account is required. Applications are reviewed and approval is not guaranteed.

Commission is a percentage of your client's payment amount before VAT.
How long it lasts
You earn on every payment the client makes during the commission period. The period is counted from the client's first payment.
Rates can be negotiated
The rates above are where partners start. BosonWare can agree different rates case by case, and confirms your final rate when your application is approved.
Refund protection
Commissions are held for two weeks to account for potential chargebacks or refunds.

What these examples assume
- Only inbox subscriptions are counted. Add-ons such as extra storage or sending credits are not included.
- Commission is calculated on the price before VAT: KSh 150 per inbox per month, or KSh 1,200 per inbox per year.
- Clients stay subscribed for the whole commission period.
- Monthly billing means one payment each month, so six payments in a six-month period and twelve in a twelve-month period. Yearly billing means one payment falls inside the period.
- The rates are the starting rates. Your final rate is confirmed when your application is approved and can differ.
- Commission is held for two weeks before you can withdraw it.
How you get paid
- Commission is credited automatically to your BosonWare wallet.
- Once a commission has cleared the two-week hold, you can request a withdrawal.
- Withdrawals are settled through M-PESA or Airtel Money, whichever you prefer.
Retailer codes
Every approved retailer can request a retailer code. A code attributes a sale to you, and it can also apply a discount for the client, depending on the partner.

BosonMail gives businesses email addresses on their own domain, such as sales@yourclient.co.ke, with nothing to install or maintain.

How to apply
- Create a BosonWare account.
- Open the Retailer application.
- Describe your marketing strategy and plan and your target audience, and choose the channels you will use.
- Optionally add your website, social media handles and any notes about your client base or experience.
- To be considered as a reseller, choose "Direct Client Consulting & Agency Sales", explain your agency business in the notes, and provide a valid website.
- Submit your application.
BosonWare administrators review every application. They approve or reject it, and a rejection always comes with a reason.

That is your decision. A partner programme is not a reason to push a service that does not fit a client.
